Founded in 2001, GrandShare was born out of the strong belief that other, more rewarding alternatives to vacationing and second ownership could be and should be made available. Our approach centers around the concept of fractional real estate – the concept that actual ownership interests in a single property may be divided, with each fractional ownership being held by, and fractional title in the property conveyed to, a plurality of owners. GrandShare provides a comprehensive, all encompassing system for buying and selling fractional real estate. This patent pending system, which is referred to as The GrandShare System, was developed to enable GrandShare to provide a convenient, one-stop shop that addresses and handles all of the requirements and obligations for entering into fractional ownership. The GrandShare system represents years of research and development and the knowledge gained in navigating the difficult and complex facets of fractional real estate ownership. Although our focus is geared towards the independent project - single family dwellings rather than multi-unit properties - our system is not limited to these.
